January Hannah Nussbaum’s book found a home with Strange Attractor. The title is expected to comprise text, image and commentary based around my archive. ‘An Inward Looking Outer Space: A Brief History of Corridor’ commissioned by Corridor8 at the end of 2019, as well as earlier articles Hannah wrote for iiii magazine give an inkling of what is being planned. No contract or date as yet.*
March Ian Harrison of Mojo interviewed me for ‘Joy Division’s Eat the Document?’, about Malcolm Whitehead’s political 1979 film portrait The Joy Division Film (Mojo #316). Harrison’s article followed my letter in the February edition (Mojo #315) correcting an announcement made about the film in the January Mojo.
April Space Cowboy Books will publish my poems, Complete Poems 1965-2020. Work is on-going for planned publication in 2021 by the Joshua Tree/California-based publishing house, bookshop and spoken word broadcaster.*
April 15th Jean-Paul L Garnier performed a reading of ‘Spunkee Doo!’ for the spoken word podcast Simultaneous Times, episode #26.
August 15th Garnier followed up with a reading of ‘Disintegration’ for Simultaneous Times, episode #30.
August 19th ‘Medicine of the Future’, from my current work-in-progress The Sunshine Island appeared in Octo-Emanations, which also included current poetry and ‘Lay-Bys We Have known and Loved’, an art collaboration with Sarajane Inkster. Octo-Emanations is the eighth edition of Emanations, from International Authors, Brookline, Massachusetts edited by Carter Kaplan. Past editions have provided a home for my unpublished fiction and poetry from the days of New Worlds.
