October 2023. This month I was awarded ‘Best SF Poet’ in the 2023 National Fantasy Fan Federation Laureate Awards for Complete Poems: 1965-2020.
The Laureate Awards aim to honour achievements in speculative fiction and fannish and professional scientifictional creativity in all media.
Their awards predate The Hugo by over a decade and were the first to recognise a young writer – and favourite author of mine – Ray Bradbury.
